As part of the “My Life. My Card.” campaign, American Express asked its roster of endorsers to answer a list of questions that would reveal a more personal side to their stories. The completed surveys (from the likes of Beyonce, Tiger Woods and Kate Winslet) were turned into print ads accompanied by beautiful portraits shot by Annie Leibovitz. 

Some of the answers even sparked short films that brought us inside the world of these AmEx Cardmembers. Ogilvy collaborated directly with Ellen’s writers to craft a hilarious vision of what a day in the life of her talk show would look like if everyone on set were an animal. The two-minute film became an instant classic, eventually earning the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Commercial.

MY ROLE
As an Account Executive at Ogilvy, I led day-to-day development of the “My Life. My Card.” TV & print campaign. I collaborated directly with the Creative & Production departments to deliver exceptional work, while helping to manage client & talent relationships.
