Jordan Brand celebrated the 30-year anniversary of Michael Jordan’s legendary NBA All-Star free throw line dunk with an exclusive Snapchat augmented reality e-commerce experience. This marked the first time ever a brand’s product had been sold directly through Snapchat and delivered within hours.

Consumers discovered a 3D Snapchat Lens featuring Michael Jordan completing his iconic dunk from 1998 at true scale and height. Fans could physically walk around MJ to experience the dunk from all angles and also unlock the purchase flow that provided pre-release access to the AJ III Tinker with same-day delivery. All completed without ever leaving Snapchat.

My Role: I led the Creative Strategy team at Snapchat responsible for bringing RGA’s incredible idea to life. My team & I collaborated closely with RGA’s creative experience team, Jordan Brand’s senior leadership and Snap’s internal Product department to define structured solutions to ambiguous questions. My most-important responsibility was to empower my team members, so they had the confidence and resources to achieve their goals.
